Research Essentials: RDM Planning Online
A data management plan (DMP) is a living document for a research project, which outlines data creation, data policies, access and ownership rules, management practices, management facilities and equipment, and who will be responsible for what.
The Australian Research Data Commons provides excellent advice that informs this session: https://ardc.edu.au/resource/data-management-plans/
'Research Data Management Planning' is intended as a thorough checkbox exercise that sets out intentions and methods for achieving compliant research data that maximises usefulness and impact. Research Data Management Plans should cover the FAIR principles and Sensitive Data, topics covered in the two previous sessions.
