Get Read - Open Access for your research. Online

You hit a paywall of $30 for a journal article, the link to a report results in a 404. A researcher trying to access YOUR research hits a paywall and cannot read your paper (or cite it), without paying.

Access to research is a real problem, particularly for practitioners, policymakers, and researchers at underfunded institutions. How can you ensure wider access to your research?

By the end of Get Read: Open Access for ACU publications you will be able to:

  • Understand the benefits of each type of open access publishing option and how ACU Library can support you with your publishing decisions.
  • Discover the Library’s Read and Publish Agreements (with specific publishers/journals) that enable you to publish open access without paying a fee
  • Select the open access pathway that best suits you and your research
  • Know how to deposit an open access version of your research in the institutional repository, ACU Research Bank Identify key open access funder policies and understand their effect on your research

 The session will be conducted on Microsoft Teams. Registered participants will be provided with the meeting link.
