Get Metrics: providing evidence to support claims of research quality. Online

This workshop will provide information about the various metrics available to you to support your claims of research excellence, significance and impact.

Topics covered include:

  • How common research metrics are used, their benefits and limitations Benchmarking yourself against other researchers to provide context
  • Discovering evidence of attention outside of academia (in Government policy for example), that may indicate future impact.
  • There will be a hands-on aspect to this workshop, allowing participants to work with Scopus, SciVal and Altmetric Explorer to generate their own metrics.

Please ensure that you have either a Scopus ID or ORCID identifier that you can use during the workshop.

The session will be conducted on Microsoft Teams. Registered participants will be provided with the meeting link.
