This workshop will provide information about the various metrics available to you to support your claims of research excellence, significance and impact.
Topics covered include:
- How common research metrics are used, their benefits and limitations Benchmarking yourself against other researchers to provide context
- Discovering evidence of attention outside of academia (in Government policy for example), that may indicate future impact.
- There will be a hands-on aspect to this workshop, allowing participants to work with Scopus, SciVal and Altmetric Explorer to generate their own metrics.
Please ensure that you have either a Scopus ID or ORCID identifier that you can use during the workshop.
The session will be conducted on Microsoft Teams. Registered participants will be provided with the meeting link.
